Dell introduced a refreshed version of its popular XPS 15 laptop at CES 2017. The company’s refreshed XPS 15, the 9560 now includes a 7-gen Intel Core processors, along with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1050 GPU with 4GB of GDDR5 RAM. As promised, the new Dell XPS 15 is now available for purchase from Dell’s official website, and customers can order one for themselves right now.
The main feature of the XPS 15 is its virtually borderless display that maximizes screen space by accommodating a 15.6-inch display inside a laptop closer to the size of a 14-inch, thanks to a bezel measuring just 5.7mm. The device comes in two different variants: a Full HD display variant and a 4K display. The 4K variant comes with a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor (7700HQ), GTX 1050, 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM, and a touch display. The Full HD variant, on the other hand, will get you the same Kaby Lake Core i7 processor, GTX 1050, 512GB of storage but it doesn’t include a touch-display. Both of the variants come with a 97WHr battery which should offer a pretty decent battery life.
The Full HD variant of the device is now available for $1749, while the 4K variant is available for $2,249. Dell is expected to release cheaper variants of the XPS 15 in the near-future — but in the meantime, you can get the Full HD and 4K variant here.Â
