Dell announces upgrades to its Precision workstations at Computex 2019

At Computex 2019, Dell has announced upgrades to its Precision workstations. The new lineup includes both desktops and laptops.

The new upgrades include Precision 5540, Precision 7540, and the Precision 7740. The Precision 5540 is Dell’s lightest 15-inch mobile workstation, thanks to it’s chassis. It also comes with an InfinityDisplay and has a Nvidia Quadro T2000. The new 7000 series comes with two screen options- 15-inch, and 17-inch. The 15-inch also comes with an optional UHD HDR400 screen. The 15-inch variant also comes with graphics up to a Quadro RTX 3000 with 6GB GDDR6 while the 17-inch model goes up to Quadro RTX 5000 with 16GB GDDR6. Dell has also announced an upgrade to its Precision 3431 Tower, 3630 Tower, and 3930 Rack workstations as well.

The new Precision mobile workstations will be available in early July, with the 5540 starting at $1,339, the 7540 starting at $1,149, and the 7740 starting at $1,409. The Precision 3630 Tower is coming in mid-July and will start at $609. The Precision 3431 Tower is coming in June as well with a starting price of $609, and the Precision 3930 Rack is coming in mid-July and will start at $879.
