Dell Latitude 5000 Series

Dell today announced the new Latitude 3000 and 5000 Series laptops targeting the enterprise customers. The Latitude 5000 series device are their thinnest, lightest mainstream laptop yet – including our first 12″ screen size, starting at starting at 3.4 pounds and just 23mm thin, in addition to 14″ and 15″ screen size options. They are powered by latest generation of Intel Core vPro processor options, plus stay productive wherever work takes you with all-day battery life and the most ports, storage, connectivity and display options of any Latitude. The device itself is built with premium materials, including optional magnesium alloy LCD display back and touch panels clad with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass NBT.

The new Latitude 12 5000 Series joins the Latitude 14 and 15 5000 Series for a fully-featured, premium mobile experience to meet the needs any mobile professional. The world’s most secure business laptop, the Latitude 5000 Series has a new, sleek design that is 20 percent thinner than the previous model. It also offers all day battery life with a 4-cell battery,[2] enhanced materials for durability and enterprise-class support and services.

Designed to meet the needs and budget of small and growing businesses, the new Latitude 14 and 15 3000 Series offers the essential features of a business-class laptop with the right balance of mobility, productivity and affordability. Thinner and lighter than previous generations and backed by enterprise-class support, the new 3000 Series boasts all-day battery life,[2] a spill resistant keyboard, up to 1 terabyte of storage[3] and 14-inch or 15-inch displays with touch options.

The Latitude 5000 Series starts at USD $769 and will be available September 25 in the US, Europe and Asia. The Latitude 3000 Series starts at USD $640 and is available in Asia. latest generation of Intel Core vPro processor options, plus stay productive wherever work takes you with all-day battery life and the most ports, storage, connectivity and display options of any Latitude.
