The Microsoft HoloLens is a cool but also really expensive piece of kit, and even many companies may be reluctant to invest in an experimental product that is sure to be superceded in a year or two.
Fortunately, you may not need to shell out $5000 for the commercial Microsoft HoloLens, as a US company is now looking to rent the Mixed Reality headset for periods from as short as 1 month to as long as a year.
ABComRents has partnered with Microsoft to offer the headsets to developers in North America and are now open to enquiries.
The company has not revealed how much it will cost, but clearly, the capital outlay will be significantly less.
