Deal Flux is a very simple but powerful app – and when I say simple, I mean very simple:
You have only the main view and the settings. On the main view you see deals from several shops, like woot, 1saleaday, daily steals or amazon. For instance you can see items, which have a special offer, or coupons, like the one on amazon for up to 60% off for school essentials. When you tap on a deal you will be able to see the product and the details and – when available – its specs. One little tap on the ‘BUY NOW’ icon will bring you to the homepage of this deal and you will be able to buy it, which works very fast because it opens in the Internet Explorer. A cool feature is the possibility to pin or tweet deals.
The Settings allow you to select shops and their categories. When you do not want to see Kid items from woot, you just need to unselect it. Also you are able to allow the live tile function for every single category.
The UI of the app is very metro Windows 8 styled and one of the smoothest application I have tried so far. The deals are shown in a 2 x 3.5 tile row, and you can switch between the shops by swiping.
I personally like this application, even if I cannot use it completely in my country. It does what it has to and you do not have a those complicated sub menus – and because it is that simple there’s no more to say!
