Acer Announces 8-inch Iconia Tab 8 W Windows Tablet For $150

Acer today announced a new Windows tablet at IFA. This new Iconia Tab 8 W is an 8-inch Windows tablet powered by quad-core Intel Atom processor(Z3735G), 1,280 x 800 IPS display, front and rear cameras, SDcard support, one year free Office 365 subscription, 8-hours battery life. And all this for just $150. The Tab 8 W will launch in November in Europe for €150, and in the US in November for $150.

The Iconia Tab 8 W comes with an optional slim and lightweight (less than 200 g/0.44 lbs.) and Acer Crunch Keyboard that is easy to slip into a bag and carry around. It features a full-size keyboard for fast typing and a Windows home button for quick access to the Metro mode.
