It seems our call to action yesterday has resulted in some rapid results. We noted yesterday that government body Transport for London neglected to develop a Windows Phone app for their Santander Cycle service, which offers low cost cycle hire in the centre of London, and suggested readers make a formal complaint, like we did.
It seems now the service has reconsidered, with their Twitter support saying:
@darrenbrade Hi, we’re currently investigating deployment of the app to Windows Phone in the future. Keep following us for update.

With Windows Phone users an increasingly large minority in Europe we suggest readers not let companies and other organizations get away so easily with neglecting Windows Phone, and make our voices heard loud and clear. Remember, the squeaky wheel does get the oil, in the end.
