Micromax launches Canvas Lapbook L1160 at Rs 10,499

Indian manufacturer Micromax (in association with Microsoft and Intel) today launched the Canvas Lapbook L1160 laptop, the follow up to last year’s Canvas Lapbook, for Rs 10,499 exclusively through Amazon India. The entry-level Windows 10 laptop, or lapbook, features an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 HD display, a 1.83GHz quad-core Intel processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32 GB of flash storage which can be extended via microSD. As far as connectivity, Micromax newest offering comes with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 2.0 ports, a HDMI port, and one for Ethernet. Powering everything is 4,100 mAh battery offering about 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. Topping everything off is an 8MP rear camera coupled with a 5MP front camera. So far there are no plans to bring this affordable laptop to brick and mortar stores.
