Does Anrgy Birds live up to the hype? Find out below!

Overall Score: 4/5

Yeah Angry Birds is fun, but it could be a little better! The best point about the game is the superb lasting value.

Gameplay: 4/5

We all know Angry Birds wasn’t the one that invented this style of gameplay, so they’re not getting any special credit there. However, the gameplay is really fun and the controls feel great. The only disadvantage is that you constantly have to zoom out in order to see your target and your slingshot in one single view. Other than that, the gameplay is pretty good and it surprisingly doesn’t get boring.

Presentation: 4/5

The visuals are good and the game runs at a smooth frame rate, and doesn’t take too long to load. However, the sound effects are ANNOYING! All you hear is constant birds chirping and pigs snorting. I guess it gives you incentive to kill those dang pigs, but at least throw in some music! Nevertheless, the visuals are good.

Lasting Value: 5/5

You’ll get over five hours of gameplay from this, plus the replay ability since you can compete in the leaderboards and also try to get 3 stars on every level, making this a 5/5 lasting value game. However, the leaderboards could have been even better if they were more integrated into the game and, say, had leaderboards for each individual level. Oh there’s more levels that will be added soon too!
