The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL

Earlier this year, Alcatel introduced the OneTocuh Fierce XL and the Pixi 3 devices running Windows 10 Mobile. The company’s Senior Vice President (of the North America region), Steve Cistulli promised that the company is planning to release multiple Windows 10 Mobile devices, including a “superphone”. Well, it looks like Alcatel’s upcoming “superphone” will be quite promising.

We have got some exclusive info on Alcatel’s upcoming Windows 10 Mobile device, the Idol Pro 4 – which is possibly the company’s superphone. The Idol Pro 4 will be Alcatel’s new Windows 10 Mobile flagship device which will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. The Idol Pro 4 will also come with Continuum for phones support, meaning that you will be able to use the device as a pocket PC and get a PC-like experience by connecting it to a monitor, keyboard and mouse. For the display, we are told that Alcatel is planning to pack a Full HD display for the Idol Pro 4. Additionally, we have also been told that the device will be coming to T-Mobile in the United States.

It’s worth noting that the Idol Pro 4 will also include Reset Protection, which some Lumias like the Lumia 830 doesn’t offer. Nonetheless, here’s everything we know about the Alcatel Idol Pro 4 at a quick glance:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 820
