First, the exciting ones:

The HTC Whitestone will have a 3.6 inch WVGA screen, 5 megapixel camera, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, run on Windows Mobile 6.1 and have a Qualcomm 7600 processor running at 528 Mhz.  The device will have both GSM and EVDO and debut on the Verizon network in September.

The Firestone is a GSM/3G device, the real successor to the HTC Touch HD, and also feature a 3.6 inch WVGA screen, HTC’s first 8 megapixel camera, 256 MB RAM/512 MB ROM, run on a Qualcomm 8250 processor at 600 Mhz and be powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.

This powerhouse is expected in August 2009.

Next, the Thoth is clearly the Athena successor. The Thoth feature a 4.8 inch WVGA screen, a 5 megapixel camera, 256 MB RAM/512 MB ROM, run on a Qualcomm 8250 processor at 1000 Mhz (!) and be powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.

Expect this device to be announced in September 2009.

Now to less exciting devices.

The Twin is a dual CDMA/GSM device, with a VGA screen, 3.2 megapixel camera,  256 MB RAM/512 MB ROM, run on a Qualcomm 7501A processor at 528 Mhz and also a TI Locosto processor . The Twin is expected to launch July 2009 on China Telecom.

Finally, the Maple.

We have already seen this device, with its 2.4 inch QVGA screen, 2 megapixel camera, and Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. What’s new is the internal specs.  It runs on a Qualcomm, 7225 processor at 528 Mhz, and has 128 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM and is expected in May.

The Cedar is a similar device to the Maple, but for CDMA networks and was meant to debut on Verizon in June, but may have been cancelled.

Good news for T-Mobile USA subscribers is that, besides the Maple which is heading their way in May 2009, they are also getting the HTC Touch Pro 2, code-named Rhodium, around the same time.
