As we enter the final month of 2019, Netmarketshare has released the data and it looks okay as far as browsers are concerned. On the OS side, there’s a slight drop in the Windows 10 market share.
Windows 10 has recorded a significant rise in the last couple of months so seeing a drop was a surprising change of pace. The drop, however, isn’t significant as Windows 10 went from 54.30% to 53.78%. Coincidently, Apple’s macOS also saw a sight drop going from 5.11% to 4.06%. Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 also registered a slight drop and now hold 26.67% and 3.66% respectively.
Moving on to the web browsers, there’s not a huge change in the market share. Google Chrome is still dominating the market with 67.30% of the market share and is followed by Firefox at 8.61% and Internet Explorer at 7.43%. Coming at the last is Microsoft Edge with 6.23% of the market share.
There was not a huge change in the market share in November and we expect to see a similar trend in December as well.
