Microsoft has released an update for its Paint app (version 11.2502.121.0) to Windows Insiders in the Canary and Dev Channels on Windows 11. The update focuses on improving the Cocreator side panel, offering a more intuitive layout. You can access Cocreator through the Copilot menu and describe the desired artwork. AI-generated artwork is produced by drawing on the canvas with a mouse or pen.
What’s new in Paint?
- Creativity Slider and Style Selection: You can adjust the Creativity slider and select styles from a dropdown menu to influence the appearance of the AI-generated artwork.
- ‘Try Again’ and ‘Apply’ Buttons: A newly introduced ‘Try again’ button allows users to generate alternative versions of the image, while the ‘Apply’ button integrates the finalized AI-generated content into the Paint canvas.
These enhancements aim to provide a more seamless and user-friendly experience for those utilizing AI-assisted creative tools within Paint.
Microsoft encourages you to provide feedback on these updates through the Feedback Hub (WIN + F) under Apps > Paint.
