Xiaomi has announced its first-ever 64MP camera smartphone and the new camera technology, as per the Chinese company, is capable of packing in 38% more pixels than a 48M camera. Xiaomi doesn’t want to stop there and is keen on introducing more advanced camera technology into their smartphones.
The Chinese manufacturer has announced that it’ll be the first smartphone company in the work to bring 108MP camera into Xiaomi smartphone. The announcement came just after the showcasing of 64MP camera smartphone.
Helping Xiaomi to introduce the first-ever 108MP camera smartphone will be Samsung. Xiaomi announced that they will the first company to adopt Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL CMOS technology, with the help of which it will achieve the goal. Rumor also has it that Xiaomi’s upcoming release, Mi Mix 4 will be the first smartphone to have the 108MP sensor.

While there is no official information on which smartphone Xiaomi will introduce the 108MP sensor, once it’s released, users will be able to capture images at a 12032 x 9024 resolutions.
