Snapdragon X Elite has just taken the world by storm. Announced during this week’s Qualcomm event, many expect this to be the next big thing. But the question is, which Windows laptops will power this new bad boy?

Windows Report previously leaked some of the key features ahead of its release, as well as its release date. It’s coming to new devices starting mid-2024 so we’re not too far away from the release.

During the presentation, Qualcomm boasts that their new best thing is partnering with some of the world’s leading PC OEMs (original equipment manufacturers). The list includes Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Honor, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, Samsung, and Mi.

The list sure does look star-studded, so make sure to be on the lookout for these brands in mid-2024. If you remember, the new Galaxy Book 4 Ultra from Samsung will probably arrive around the same time. And, from the look of it, it seems like a promising start.

Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 also got a lot of airtime during the event.

The upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra, OnePlus 12, and Xiaomi 14 Pro are rumored to be powered by this chip, which also has ray tracing support like the new A17 Pro for iPhones.
