You may remember that the new section for PC Game Pass on Microsoft Store has just arrived for Canary channel insiders. The good news is, that this very update is also live in the Dev channel with Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23541.

Microsoft’s latest update to the now-rebooted channel includes several new features and improvements, as well as some fixes for known issues.

As we’ve noted from the changelog, some Insiders may experience a temporary disappearance of thumbnail previews for cloud files under Recommended on the Start menu. And, Microsoft has also fixed an issue where explorer.exe crashes when dragging app icons in the taskbar.

Additionally, the tooltip when mousing over the search box now matches the current search highlight, and it is now possible to paste a folder path to mount into the dialog when creating a new Dev Drive.

“The Dev Channel receives builds that represent long lead work from our engineers with features and experiences that may never get released as we try out different concepts and get feedback,” says Microsoft.
