Windows 10 Insiders now have access to a great new feature to test in the Mail and Calendar app.

Version 16006.10228.20108.0 of the app now lets you insert drawings and annotate pictures using your mouse, finger or pen via a new Draw tab in the ribbon, allowing you to easily highlight features on pictures.

The changelog reads:

What’s new in Mail and Calendar for Windows 10?

• Insert a Drawing Canvas from the ribbon anywhere in your email to add a sketch.
• Annotate any picture by drawing on or next to it.
• Use ink effects like galaxy, rainbow, and rose gold colored pens.

The feature, of course, works best with a precision pen and touch screen and would be a great complement for the new feature in the Android Outlook app, which lets you quickly and easily insert pictures, documents and whiteboard scans into your email.

Insiders can download the update now, and it should roll out in coming weeks to regular users.

Thanks, Nasrudin for the tip.
