Relationships between Microsoft and Verizon are not too cosy at the minute, and possibly related to this in some way, the most recently launched Windows Phone on the red network, the LG Lancet, is now also available in an Android version.

The price and specs otherwise remains identical, except the Android version is strangely slightly lighter at 5.05 oz vs 4.79 oz. This is however not taken from the battery, with both devices sporting a 2100 mAh battery.

Interestingly the Windows Phone version however offers better battery life, offering 18.5 hours of usage time and 17.5 days of standby time, vs 10 hours of usage time and 17.5 days of standby time.

The handset otherwise offers an 8 megapixel camera, 8 GB of storage and a WVGA screen.

With Android vastly outselling Windows Phone it is unlikely this advantage, which represents charging your phone in the middle vs at the end of the day, will convince many, but such a head to head comparison is still somewhat interesting.
