Every week a handful of games release on Xbox One and many elude owners of the console due to their timid marketing. Xbox Wire makes sure you know about them but can’t provide gamers with recommendations. Additionally, their lists are usually incomplete. A lot of these titles are absolutely phenomenal and it’s a shame that they aren’t noticed. Here are some games coming out between October 2 and October 6 which you should check out. Some of the experiences are quite obvious while others may surprise you.
Forza Motorsport 7
Experience the thrill of motorsport at the limit with the most comprehensive, beautiful and authentic racing game ever made. Enjoy gorgeous graphics at 60 FPS and native 4K resolution on Xbox One X. Collect and race more than 700 cars, including the largest collection of Ferraris, Porsches, and Lamborghinis ever. Challenge yourself across 30 famous destinations and 200 ribbons, where race conditions change every time you return to the track.
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen
The critically acclaimed action game, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, combines exhilarating and deep combat with the freedom to explore the huge open world of Gransys in 1080p graphics. Choose between 9 different classes and embark on your own adventure along with 3 companions, known as Pawns. Use the deep combat system to wield devastating skills and magicks to take on fabled monsters or climb onto them for an up close and personal attack!
theHunter: Call of the Wild
Are you into weird hunting games? We have a surprise for you. Despite its weird name, theHunter: Call of the Wild offers the most immersive hunting experience ever created. Step into a beautiful open world teeming with life, from majestic deer and awe-inspiring bison, down to the countless birds, critters and insects of the wilderness. Every inch of the 50-square mile world is crafted using Apex, award-winning technology crafted by Avalanche Studios during a decade of developing explosive action games. You can also team up in multiplayer to shoot a bunch of animals. The game mostly makes the list because it looks gorgeous.
Iron Wings
Players take on the role of the two pilots, Jack and Amelia, as they attempt to take down the Nazi aerial menace across a rich campaign of missions, each with numerous objectives and enemies as well as side objectives. With fast-paced action you will also have to consider some strategy, like assigning your partner primary objectives to shoot down, in order to succeed.
Jydge
Have you ever wanted to play as Judge Dredd? Well, that game is a while away because Rebellion own the rights but we have a title that’s similar now. Jydge is a lawful but awful roguehate top-down shooter where you get to build your own cybernetic Jydge and eradicate crime in the never-sleeping megacity of Edenbyrg. Sound familiar? Because it is and it’s awesome.
Apart from the games mentioned above, Xbox One is getting some other smaller titles. There might be other surprise releases in there too like the recent ACA NeoGeo The King of Fighters ’96. This week might not be as eventful as the last few put together, but it still includes some extraordinary titles. The most important news probably has to be how Forza Motorsport 7 will be available to non-Ultimate Edition owners. All of these are great experiences Xbox One owners should try out.
