Xbox One games won’t be the only titles that will enjoy enhancements for the Xbox One X. It was already revealed last month that Halo 3, Assassin’s Creed, Fallout 3, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion would receive enhancements specifically for the console, but now three more games have been added to that list.

A total of 7 games may not seem that impressive, but the names on the list are popular blockbusters. Newly announced today were Skate 3, Mirror’s Edge, and Gears of War 3, which are sure to look spectacular though we don’t know the full specifics of their enhancements as of yet. All of these games are of course backward compatible as well.
While some of these games are owned by Microsoft, the rest are third-party, a hopeful indication that other publishers will enhance their older games for Xbox One X as well. The backward compatibility program has been incredibly successful and seeing more of the games in its catalogue take advantage of the Xbox One X’s power is only a good thing.
