Good news for gamers as Frogwares has announced The Sinking City Remastered for Xbox Series X/S, PC and PS5 users.

Ukrainian video game developer Frogwares has announced the launch of The Sinking City Remastered. Boasting new features and quality-of-life improvements, the revamped game will be available on all major platforms, including Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.

Launched originally in June 2019, The Sinking City was made available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 before arriving on Nintendo Switch in September of the same year. The new Resmastered edition of the 2019 title, however, completely overhauls the gameplay using Unreal Engine 5. This has helped the developers utilise 4K textures and improved reflections in the user experience. Another new feature in the game is the new Photo Mode, which, like other titles (such as Spiderman), will allow its players to soak up the new hi-res visuals.

Additionally, the developers have also shared that all existing owners of the original The Sinking City can upgrade to the Remastered edition for free. While an official release date or a specific one has yet to be announced, Frogwares has indicated that official gameplay footage will be showcased in the coming months.
