The latest expansion for The Sims 4 has been revealed to be StrangerVille, a mysterious new game pack that’s hiding a deep, dark secret.

The new game pack brings a new world called StrangerVille to the Sims world. The new world appears to be a curious little desert town that’s hiding a terrifying secret. The trailer shows Sims acting odd, with creepy grins and wide eyes. Army officials also appear to be discussing something potentially sinister.

Is there a conspiracy? Or is it all in your Sims’ heads? Nobody knows. Yet.

You can watch the climatic trailer for the new pack below.

StrangerVille is a game pack, meaning it won’t add as much to the game as an expansion pack but comes with more content than a stuff pack.

The EA website indicates this pack will come with new sci-fi themed outfits, a new storyline, and of course, a brand new world. It’s not usual for game packs to come with a storyline, so StrangerVille is an exception.

There’s also a tie-in comic which is available to view online here. Part 1 is out now, with part 2 due out February 22nd.

It seems that the new pack is a homage to Strangetown, a neighborhood from Sims 2 which was chock-full of aliens, conspiracies, and sci-fi drama. Did we mention aliens?

The Sims 4: StrangerVille is out on February 26th for PC and Mac. It requires The Sims 4 base game and all game updates to play.
