Sky working on a Sky Go app for Windows 8 and Windows Phone

Sky has not been the greatest supporters of Windows Phone, but they do have some apps on the OS.
The biggest missing piece is a Sky Go app for Windows Phone, in UK at least.
Now it seems, if we can believe Sky support, that an app is on the way.
According to Vinutha from Sky Support the company is developing a Windows 8 app, which should also bring Windows Phone support.
He writes:
We are working on both, once it is available on Windows 8 we will also have it Windows phone. 🙂
The news suggests a universal app may be on the way, which would support both Windows 8 and Windows Phone simultaneously.
Universal apps are a great way for Microsoft to leverage the large installed base of Windows 8 PCs and laptops to also boost the Windows Phone Store, and if the news is any indication it may just be paying off.
