Samsung has just confirmed the launch date of the most anticipated phone of the first half of 2018.

In the teaser tweet, Samsung announced an Unpacked event for the 25th February, which should be just before MWC 2018.

The tweet teases camera improvements to the Samsung Galaxy S9, which is rumoured to sue Samsung’s new Isocell technology for better low light performance, super-fast frame rate/ slow-motion 1080P 480  fps image capture and better support for dual cameras as is expected to be found on the S9 Plus. The other detailed leaked specs can be read here.

A video of the device in production has leaked earlier today,  and the handset is rumoured to be hitting the market on the same day or very close to the announcement, rather than a few weeks later.

Microsoft is expected to sell the device via the Microsoft Store, just as they have done the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and S8.
