We have heard that Samsung may bring forward to launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to better compete against the new range of iPhone Xs expected in the second half of this year.

Now the first electronics emission certification for the handset has arrived, giving some support for the theory.

Letsgodigital.nl has spotted the Chinese variant of the  Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N908) passing through the CMIIT (China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). The certification raise some support for a possible summer rather than autumn launch.

Earlier leaks have suggested the  Note 9 might come with a 4000 mAh batter and a 6.4-inch infinite display.  Other leaks include the possibility of an in-display fingerprint scanner and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with 6 GB of RAM.

LGD suggests unlike the Samsung Galaxy S9 the emphasis on this generation will be on the S Pen rather than the camera, with the slogan “writing re-imagined.”

The certificate details can be viewed here and here .
