A nasty PS5 bug is plaguing early versions of Sony’s next-gen console.

Reported by IGN, PS5 gamers attempting to download PlayStation 5 software from the PlayStation Store are experiencing issues with getting their software to actually download.

The PS5 bug causes currently downloading games to have their progress frozen,  forever holding those games in a “Queued for Download” state where nothing ever progresses.

The only known fix for this issue appears to be a complete factory reset of the PlayStation 5 console.  With no way to back up PlayStation 5 games to external storage at the time of writing, this means players are forced to redownload everything all over again.
