In this Pi AI review, I tested its main features and developed a profile to see if it truly delivers on its promise.

PI AI is plugged into the latest news and information on the web, allowing you to ask for recent headlines, sporting results, or more general questions. For example, it was quickly able to summarize some of the biggest headlines in pro wrestling for me, while asking my own opinion on it:

It is generally accurate, but like most chatbots it can get some things wrong. When I asked a general question about an event, it said someone appeared that didn’t, but when I asked a more specific question, it was accurate.

Generative AI

With generative AI, Pi can assist with creative writing, generating ideas, brainstorming, or even writing poems and stories based on your prompts. Its results are similar to ChatGPT, Bard, and others. I asked it to summarize the concept of determinism and it was both accurate and perfectly readable for a blog post format:

5. Click the speaker icon to have the responses narrated out loud.
