Last year Microsoft agreed to open source the very popular but dated Windows Live Writer blogging tool and in December 2015 Open Live Writer was born.
Today, due to Project Centennial, the app has been published in the Windows Store.

Project Centennial apps are x86 only, but offer improvements in installation, security and can be enhanced with features such as Live Tiles and Notifications.
For now if you want to get Open Live Writer, you can get it here, and you can also find its GitHub repository here. We’ll update this post with the actual Store download link when it becomes available.
Update: Now here.
The description reads:
Open Live Writer is like Word for your blog. Open Live Writer is a powerful, lightweight blog editor that allows you to create blog posts, add photos and videos then publish to your website. You can also compose blogs posts offline and then publish on your return. Open Live Writer works with many popular blog service providers such as WordPress, Blogger, TypePad, Moveable Type, DasBlog and many more.
