Microsoft’s OneNote October update is now being released to all users. The update — which we reported on earlier this month –– is a small update in terms of what’s new, but it adds a feature that some may see as necessary.
While OneNote is a digital notebook, sometimes it becomes necessary to make use of physical media like paper in order to share your ideas with others. Microsoft is adding in a new option in OneNote to print your entire Notebook, either that, or you can print a whole section. You can already print individual pages, but this improvement makes it much easier to print out research notes, a bunch of saved recipes, or similar groups of notes without needing to go to each note and print one by one.
- If you have high-DPI or multiple monitors, you’ll find OneNote looks and acts better than ever.
- PDF printouts now look crisp and clear in OneNote for Windows 10, even those that were previously inserted with other versions of OneNote.
- Take advantage of a new setting. You can decide if you want to automatically capitalize the first word of a sentence.
The OneNote update should be rolling out to your PC and/or Windows phone soon, but you can hasten the process via a direct download from the Windows Store link here.
