Microsoft just released version 7.0 for the OneDrive app on iOS. The latest update for OneDrive on iOS isn’t a huge update – however, it introduces a nice new feature which can be useful if you are a SharePoint user. With the latest update, OneDrive users can now access their SharePoint files directly from the OneDrive app on iOS — which is a really nice addition. Here is the changelog:

  • SharePoint Online Integration: If you have a work or school/university account, you may notice a new “Sites” tab. This will give you direct access to all your documents and files in SharePoint, so you can stay productive on the go!
  • Coming soon: Office 365 groups and SharePoint Server 2016 & 2013 support

As the changelog states, Microsoft will soon introduce support for Office 365 Groups, as well as SharePoint Servers 2016 & 2013 support in the upcoming update for OneDrive for iOS. In the meantime, you can get the latest update for OneDrive from the App Store here.
