New Samsung Galaxy Z Flip high- resolution renders and new features leaked

It is only 5 days before the launch of the  Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, and the leaks are still coming.

XDA-Dev’s Ishan Agarwal has posted a new series of marketing renders of the device, which is now high-enough resolution to show the power button/ fingerprint sensor.

He also revealed a number of new features, such that the hinge has a free stop, meaning it can be held at any angle, not just fully open or fully closed. In terms of hardware, he also revealed that the hinge housed special fibres designed to keep dust and debris outside of the device, while still allowing free movement. The device may also be available in Mirror Gold.

In terms of software features, he revealed a Pro Video Mode, and also that there will be special software features tied to the various fold configurations. He also noted that the small screen on the cover will also be able to show notifications, besides also showing the time and battery level.

Previously the full specs, renders, photos and even videos of the handset has leaked, and we have heard that it will cost around $1500 in the USA and 1599 Euro in Europe.

Samsung Galaxy Flip comes with a 6.7 inch foldable display and Samsung is calling it Infinity Flex display. This Infinity O display is protected by Ultra Thin Glass which is more durable than the protective cover found on the Samsung Galaxy Fold. It is notable that there are no visible creases in the admittedly low-quality video.

Another highlight of this foldable smartphone is the small external Always-On AMOLED display (1.06 inches with 300 x 116 pixels) that will display notifications and key information to the users.

Despite having a thin body and foldable display, Samsung has packed 3300 mAh battery for great battery life. In terms of processing power, the Galaxy Z Flip is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and 8GB RAM, to offer you great everyday performance.
