Microsoft's upcoming Windows Core OS visits Geekbench site

Rumors have been doing the rounds that Microsoft is going to showcase its foldable smartphone running Windows Core OS at the October 2 event. Now, it seems it’s more than just a rumor.
Windows Core OS running on a virtual machine was spotted on Geekbench site, and that’s a solid hint that Microsoft will be making some announcements related to the foldable device running WCOS(short for Windows Core OS) at the October 2 Hardware event.
Talking about the score, the virtual machine running WCOS managed a single-core score of 506 and a multi-core score of 1,047 at Geekbench. The score is not even as par with the that of a budget android smartphone. That said, it’s too early to jump to the conclusion as it was running on a virtual machine.
The Geekbench data also shows that the WCOS was tested on an Intel-based device and that means we might see Intel-based devices running WCOS in future. Another possibility is that Microsoft’s foldable Windows 10 device running WCOS is based on Intel and not on ARM.
