Yesterday, we reported about the upcoming re-design of the Microsoft Channel 9 website. Today, Microsoft announced that it is working on an official Channel 9 app for Windows 10 devices. The app will be based on the Universal Windows Platform, so it’ll be available on Windows 10 PCs, Mobile, and possibly the Xbox One, HoloLens, as well as the Surface Hub.

While it isn’t yet known when the app will be available for download, our guess is that you’ll have to wait a few months for the new app to arrive. It is worth noting that Channel 9 already has a Windows 8.1 app which users on Windows 10 can download and use — but it has an outdated design which doesn’t look very nice.
