imageAccording to Microsoft Thailand the company is preparing to launch its biggest consumer brand campaign later this year, touting Windows for servers, mobile phones and game systems for consumers.

Birathon Kasemsri Na Ayudhaya, the managing director of Microsoft (Thailand), said "We expect consumers to contribute one-third of our total revenue within two years.”

The aim is to move Windows phone to No. 2 in the smartphone market within the next three years, up from fifth currently, in collaboration with phone makers Nokia, Samsung, HTC and LG.

Possibly revealing the timing of the Tango update for Windows Phone, Ayudhaya said Microsoft will introduce Windows Phone version 7.5 with Thai language support early next year. The language is not currently supported in the Mango release, but Tango 1 is expected to expand the number of languages supported by the OS.
