The Quick Machine Recovery feature activates when the device encounters a boot failure (for example, the BSOD error screen). It then enters the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) to connect to the network, send diagnostic data to Microsoft, and apply targeted fixes via Windows Update. ?
The feature is enabled by default for all Windows 11 Home users and can be toggled to enable and further customize for IT administrators in Pro and Enterprise environments. ?
Windows Insiders can test the Quick Machine Recovery feature and provide feedback via the Feedback Hub under Recovery and Uninstall > Quick Machine Recovery. ?
?Earlier this year, multiple Windows systems reportedly crashed due to the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error, and this initiative would help tackle such an issue for all users. ?
