Microsoft has been secretly cooking this for a while now, and they served it yesterday. The latest copilot-powered search feature is called Copilot Search. This is different from your regular Bing or copilot search. This new feature tries to summarize using links and then answer any follow-up questions you have. Many are calling it the ‘Future of Search.’ This update is gradually getting rolled out to all users.

We noticed the icon of Copilot Search appeared in some of our searches. After the All tab, the copilot search is visible in the next tab. If you use Edge on your mobile device, then once you search something on Edge, you will see that the second tab is occupied by Copilot Search. Once you click on this tab, AI will try to answer your question using resources from the web. The answers were adequate and with helplinks to the sources; however, you do not need them as the answers have enough data already. You can see all the links that were used in crafting the answer to your query; simply click on the See All Links button on the right-side panel. The search is more like an interaction with an AI model, which is good since the queries are getting answered faster and better.
