Microsoft has released new June system updates for Surface Pro 4, Surface Book, and Surface 3 LTE devices. Find the update details below.
Surface Pro 4:
Here is a summary of updates for Surface Pro 4 devices in June:
- Improved stability when resuming from sleep or hibernation
- Optimized battery utilization when in connected standby
- Resolved issue where the touch screen remains active when the clipboard is closed against the keyboard
The following updates will be listed as multiple updates when you check for updates in Windows, or when you view your Windows update history after installing the updates:
- Microsoft driver update for Surface UEFI
- Microsoft driver update for Surface Integration
Surface Book:
Here is a summary of updates we’ve made for Surface Book devices in June:
- Improved stability when resuming from sleep or hibernation
- Optimized battery utilization when in connected standby
- Reduced occurrences of unexpected shutdowns while the device is sleeping
- Resolved issue where the touch screen remains active when the clipboard is closed against the keyboard
The following updates will be listed as multiple updates when you check for updates in Windows, or when you view your Windows update history after installing the updates:

- Microsoft driver update for Surface Base Firmware Update
- Microsoft driver update for Surface Integration
Surface 3 LTE:
The following update is available for Surface 3 (4G LTE) in Europe and Surface 3 (Y!mobile 4G LTE) running in June:
- improved reliability of mobile broadband connectivity
The update will be listed as “Surface IA7260 Firmware Update” when you view your update history.
