Checking out the partner Health App for the Band.

Microsoft today released an update (v2015.820.1613.4844) for the Microsoft Health app for Windows Phone. This is a minor update with some bug fixes and minor improvements.

Microsoft Health helps you live healthier by providing actionable insights based on data gathered from the fitness devices and apps that you use every day, and delivering easytounderstand charts and graphs.

Use Microsoft Band to help you achieve your wellness goals by tracking your heart rate, calorie burn, and sleep quality, and maximize your fitness with Guided Workouts. Be more productive with email previews and calendar alerts at a glance.

If you don’t have a Microsoft Band, your phone’s motion sensor will track daily steps and calorie burn. Motion tracking works with Nokia Windows Phones with SensorCore.

If you’re a Microsoft Band owner and use the Health app, you can check for updates on the Store app. And if you don’t have the app just yet, you can head over to this link to grab the latest update from the Store.
