For several years, Microsoft has been pushing its subscription service Office 365 over Office 2019. Office 365 subscription includes fully installed Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Microsoft will deliver new capabilities via updates every month for these apps. Even though Office 2019 delivers fully installed Office applications just like Office 365, it won’t get updates every month with new features.
It looks like some consumers are still buying Office 2019 instead of a Office 365 subscription. In order to educate the customers about Office 365 and Office 2019, Microsoft has now launched a new marketing campaign to differentiate the two offerings for consumers. In the below videos, you can see Office 2019 and Office 365 pitted against each other. Three sets of twins were asked to complete the same tasks in both versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
