Have you been longing for a Microsoft Designer mobile app? Well, if you’re on Android, we may have some good news.
The app, which now is in the beta preview stage, can finally be downloaded on the Google Play Store, just like on the web version.
Released back in May this year, the app allows users to create stunning designs in a flash, without any prior design experience. Much like the E-model-powered Bing Image Creator, but instead of flying cat images in an astronaut suit, you can create social media posts in Designer with simple word prompts.
Designer uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate original designs and layouts based on user input. You can simply type in a description of your desired design, and Designer will create a variety of options to choose from. Once a design is selected, you can customize it further by adding text, images, and other elements.
Microsoft Designer Preview is now free, although it won’t be the case in the future. Once the app is ready for a worldwide general availability rollout, it’ll come hand-in-hand with a Microsoft 365 subscription plan with access to other AI features.
