Apple’s new headset, Apple Vision Pro, will be available for purchase on February 2nd, and we’re getting glimpses of what’s going to come. One of them is the Apple Immersive Video, Vision Pro’s entertainment format with 180-degree 3D 8K (!) recordings.

Captured with Spatial Audio, the tech giant promises that the experience gives you an unparalleled immersive experience that makes you feel like you’re right there in the scene. All for “just” $3,499.

Apple Immersive Video will be available exclusively on Apple Vision Pro and is included at no additional cost with the Apple TV app. You can also watch exclusive, rentable content like 3D movies from Disney Plus, and they’re just getting started, and it supports up to 2.5 hours of video playback.

The headset features high-resolution displays, fast image delivery, and powerful processing: the micro-OLED display gets 23 million pixels with wide color, the new R1 chip to stream images “faster than the blink of an eye,” and the M2 chip to power processes between CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine.

You also get an immersive audio experience with dual-driver audio pods that deliver Personalized Spatial Audio to each ear, supporting Dolby Atmos and Lossless Audio.
