Thunderbird needs no introduction especially to those who are familiar with Linux. For those unaware, Thunderbird is a very popular open source program for email and contact management developed by Mozilla. Aside from Linux, the program is available for Windows PCs as a Win32 program. And now Windows 10 users can download it as a Store app play with it too as Thunderbird is now available on the Microsoft Store.

What can you do with it? Here is how the officials described it:

Thunderbird – your favorite email, calendar, RSS, and contact management system – is now ported to the Microsoft Store, thanks to Store Ports and the open source community. Thunderbird is an open source program and is, has been, and always will be, absolutely free.
