Lenovo announces its all-new family of IdeaPads targeting back-to-school season

Lenovo today announced its all-new family of IdeaPads targeting the back-to-school season in the US. IdeaPad 720, 520, and 320 and IdeaPad 720S, 520S and 320S in S (slim) configurations, Lenovo Flex 5 14-inch and Lenovo Flex 5 15-inch are the six new laptops announced today. Lenovo has vastly improved the design of these laptops. Beveled edges produce smooth clean lines, while an angled front edge was added for easier lid opening.

The IdeaPad 720S is built using a premium anodized aluminum casing for a gorgeous, ultra-thin profile that feels as good as it looks. Lenovo has also redesigned the keyboard layout for improved typing experience. It comes with narrower bezels for optimized screen display and Precision Touchpad for great input experience. The IdeaPad 720S can be configured up to the latest 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, Thunderbolt 3 port and up to 1 TB PCIe SSD. It also comes with an optional fingerprint reader and Windows Hello support for near-instant logins.

The IdeaPad 520S is only 19.3mm thin, and the IdeaPad 320S includes an infused cover for a soft metallic touch. The IdeaPad 520 or 520S can also be configured up to 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics, an optional backlit keyboard and optional fingerprint reader and Windows Hello support for near-instant logins.

Lenovo Flex 5 is the latest entry level 2-in-1 laptop with 14 and 15-inch touchscreen form factors. It comes with a 360-degree hinge that supports four distinct modes (Laptop, Stand, Tent and Tablet). The Flex 5 now comes with narrow bezels and enhanced design. It is powered by Intel 7th Gen Intel Core processor, Nvidia GeForce 940MX graphics and up to an optional 4k UHD IPS Display. It also supports Windows 10 features like Windows Ink with Pen support, fingerprint reader for Windows Hello login support.
