Smartphone Envy have compared the Windows phone 7 HTC HD7 to the Android powered HTC myTouch 4G, both T-Mobile USA handsets.

The reviewer found the myTouch 4G to be the quicker device with a more up to date processor, better camera and better screen, and faster to load apps and internet video.

After what appears to be a complete wash the reviewer concludes:

I don’t think I need to tell you who the winner is of this Face Off but I did develop a fondness for WP7 OS while doing this Face Off. So much so that I went out and purchased a Samsung Focus and I’m using it as my every day phone. WP7 doesn’t come close to offering the Android OS experience but the fluidity of WP7 is intriguing. The myTouch 4G is a great smartphone able to handle whatever you might through at it and with the continued development of the Android Market I highly recommend the myTouch 4G if you’re a T-Mobile wireless customer.

So interestingly while not being a better device, the user experience won the reviewer over in the end.
