Dual-screen laptops are all the rage, but they universally cost several thousand dollars.
That did not phase Matt Perks from Youtube channel DIY Perks however, who decided to craft his own for only a few hundred dollars.
His simple solution was to bolt an external screen onto his laptop, which looks rather good from some angles and rather terribly bad from others. It does suggest however that cleaner solutions which have not been hit by the ugly stick are indeed possible pretty cheaply, and we hope some Chinese ODM is inspired to bring the dual-screen laptop life to mid-range laptop buyers.
