PC

The Master Chief Collection on PC comes with a whole new host of features designed just for the platform.

Halo: Reach plays at 60FPS (or greater!) with 4K UHD support and players can customise their Halo experience to their liking thanks to options such as variable framerate, mouse and keyboard controls rebinding, texture and shadow quality, and much more.

If you join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass for PC, you can get Halo: Reach right now. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST Campaign, and Halo 4 are also included in Game Pass membership and will be available on each game’s respective release date, with the collection coming to a conclusion in 2020.

Alternatively, you can buy the game through the Microsoft Store on Steam. You can either buy each instalment as they release for $9.99/£6.99 each (or $4.99 for Halo 3: ODST Campaign) or buy the entire collection now for $39.99/£29.99 and, as with Game Pass, get each game as it releases.

XBOX ONE

If you already own Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One, the Halo: Reach Campaign and Firefight mode are now available as a premium add-on for $9.99/£6.99.

The multiplayer components of Halo: Reach, including PVP modes, Forge, and Theatre, are automatically included as part of the base content of the collection for free.

If you’re new to the collection, you can obtain the entire collection through Xbox Game Pass for Console or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or buy it through the Microsoft Store for $39.99/£29.99. If you buy the collection now, Halo: Reach’s Campaign and Firefight modes will be included.

As with the PC version, if you buy the collection now or get access to it via Xbox Game Pass, each game will be added to your collection as they release.
