Play ONLINE in this great looking pool game!

Overall Score: 5/5

Great visuals, satisfying gameplay, and online multiplayer make this game worth checking out.

Gameplay: 5/5

When I first played this game, I thought it was wayyyy too easy. The game has “guidelines” enabled by default, which tell you exactly where the ball is going to go, and make the most difficult shots dead simple. However, one online gamer told me to turn off the guidelines… the game was entirely different! With these options, Pool Pro can be challenging and require skill or it can be fun and make you feel like a total boss. The online multiplayer is really fun once you start playing it. You can sit in the online lobby and find a random person to play with, or use an app like SocialBox to find people who also own the game and arrange a time to get on. The game isn’t perfect (the AI is pretty dumb even on its most difficult setting), but with all these features the gameplay is killer.

Presentation: 4/5

The visuals look quite great. The background music fits well in my opinion. However, the online chat can be pretty buggy (sometimes it doesn’t send messages, the keyboard doesn’t autocorrect, your chat history is gone the second the game is won/lost…).

Lasting Value: 5/5

With three different game modes (8-ball, 9-ball, and Snooker), you can have plenty of fun playing various matches of pool against the computer, against your friends locally, or online with other Windows Phone owners. The game is so realistic that you can even spin the cue ball or jump it over other balls! You could dedicate a great amount of time to this game. Playing with other people online with the guidelines disabled is a blast!QRCode
