Forza Motorsport 7

Microsoft’s Gamescom 2017 announcements keep on coming, with one of the more interesting ones being about Forza Motorsport 7. The team at Turn 10 decided to focus on optimizing and improving the PC version of the game, which meant making as many peripherals work with the game as possible – and supporting even more devices with it.

Forza Motorsport 6: Apex already ran well on lower end computers when the settings were turned down, but Motorsport 7 takes that to the next level: even the processor requirement has been lowered to an i5-750, and full information on recommended specs is coming soon. The game will apparently even run at a rock solid 60FPS on your Surface Pro 4, although you’ll want to keep the massive download size in mind.

Of course, the team also worked on improving the experience for high end devices as well. Various benchmarking modes will be available, 21:9 monitors will be supported and framerate is unlocked. The team’s goal is to create the best racing experience on PC, and it looks like they just might get there.

Forza Motorsport 7 will release on October 3rd.
