In a surprising crossover, a new trailer for DOOM: The Dark Ages was unveiled during WWE’s WrestleMania 41. After the event, id Software by Bethesda released an extended version of the trailer, teasing a more narrative-driven DOOM game yet.

Set as a prequel to DOOM (2016), The Dark Ages plunges players into a medieval-inspired hellscape, combining gothic storytelling with DOOM’s signature fast-paced violence. Players will wield brutal new weapons like the Saw Shield, allowing for visceral parries and devastating throws. The trailer teases massive battles featuring building-sized demons, a towering mech, and even a fire-breathing cyborg dragon.
