Activision released Season 4 updates for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6. The rollout quickly ran into trouble. Players across platforms reported server instability, frequent disconnects, and matchmaking failures. In response, developers disabled several features, including Warzone’s custom loadouts, Black Ops 6’s theater mode, and fast travel in Zombies mode.

The launch also delayed Warzone’s Ranked Play: Battle Royale mode. Activision cited the need to restore the experience to its intended quality. Despite ongoing issues, the team re-enabled Ranked Play for Black Ops 6 multiplayer. After issuing a stability update on May 30, developers enabled Ranked Play: Battle Royale, announcing its availability via a playlist update.

It’s unclear whether these complications will affect the planned midseason launch of Ranked Play: Resurgence Trios on Rebirth Island. Players continue to await potential further updates and fixes from the development team.
